In this video, we explore seven municipalities in inland Andalusia where houses can be found for €10,000, €15,000, €18,000, or €24,000: Huéscar, Cúllar, Génave, Pozo Alcón, Bayárcal, El Viso, and Cortelazor la Real. These are places in Granada, Jaén, Almería, Córdoba, and Huelva where depopulation, inheritances, a lack of buyers, and distance from major cities have resulted in prices that seem impossible in 2026. But these houses are not easy opportunities. Many require complete renovations, have very weak resale markets, limited services, harsh winters, isolation, mountain roads, or a small local economy. The purchase price might be very low, but the real cost begins with the construction, logistics, and the decision to live far from urban conveniences. Even so, there's something hard to ignore: an Alpujarran house in Bayárcal, a cave house in Cúllar, a home in the Sierra de Segura, a house with a yard in Los Pedroches, or a stone house in the Sierra de Aracena can cost less than a new car.
