Canoe Weekend Warriors: Amable du Fond River Provincial Park
Whitewater Canoeing in Ontario's Amable du Fond River Provincial Park; from the Kiosk access point in Algonquin Park, to the bridge at Peddlers Drive. The distance from Kiosk to Peddlers Drive was 27km. The total travel time was roughly nine hours. This outing was on Saturday 24 May 2025. There is no gauge, however, it had rained consistently for five consecutive days prior. At the second (real 20 foot waterfall) the video footage suggests that there was a trail along the shoreline, after the gazebo, but we apparently did not find it directly.
