He worked as a truck driver and also ran a business with his partner. According to reports, he had left Claypole around 3:30 p.m. that day to make deliveries in the towns of Llavallol and San Justo. According to relatives, after completing his first delivery, he was heading to his next destination when he was intercepted by four armed criminals on two motorcycles. The assailants stole his motorcycle and his belongings. According to initial reports, and despite the victim reportedly handing over the vehicle without resistance, one of the attackers fired a shot that struck him in the torso. As a result of the wound, Núñez died instantly. Police officers from the Transradio precinct and forensic investigators worked at the scene, conducting the corresponding examinations.
