A grand day out flying to Swansea and the scenic delights of south Wales...

Today we fly in my RV8 from Henstridge to Swansea, outbound over the valleys and home via the Black Mountain and the Brecon Beacons. Swansea airport has recently (2025) changed hands and it needs the support of the GA community, so why not pop in? Four long, hard runways, 100LL, friendly staff and a great little cafe open Wednesday to Sunday from 1000 to 1500. There's also a Thai restaurant open in the evenings Thursday-Saturday (I think). I have been learning Welsh and I would like to visit all the airfields in Wales. So look out for more Welsh flying adventures and a smattering of Welsh in the captions!
