Hey everyone!! In this video, I solve a math problem from the 2021/2022 EsPCEx exam about probability! This is the second exercise from the EsPCEx exam, model F. ➡️The reason we multiplied the probabilities of the student getting the exercises wrong [(2/5)x(2/5x)...] was the Multiplicative Principle. The Fundamental Counting Principle (FCP), also called the Multiplicative Principle, is used to find the number of possibilities for an event consisting of n steps (in our case, 5 steps). Therefore, the FCP is the multiplication of the given options to determine the total number of possibilities. ➡️Probability is a branch of Mathematics in which the chances of occurrence of experiments are calculated. It is through probability, for example, that we can know everything from the chance of getting heads or tails when flipping a coin to the chance of error in surveys.
