QCity Transit 6634MO Volvo B7RLE (P&D Coachworks)

In this video we take a ride on QCity Transit 6634MO (numbered #37 at the time) which is a 2010 Volvo B7RLE with a P&D Coachworks body. We ride this bus on route 831 from Queanbeyan in New South Wales towards Woden in the ACT. This bus was purchased new by Deane's Buslines, who operated bus services in Queanbeyan and surrounds, including routes in and out of Canberra. Although they purchased various buses over the years they generally had a preference for Volvo buses with P&D Coachwork bodies, like this one seen here. P&D was a small-scale bus manufacturer based in Murwillumbah in far-north New South Wales. While they mainly produced bodies on coach chassis they also did a number of low-floor bodies like 6634MO which we ride on here. This makes this particular bus a rather unique one. Deane's Buslines was purchased by ComfortDelGro Cabcharge (CDC) in 2012, who rebranded the operations to QCity Transit.
