On July 16th and 17th, 2026, the Intensive Workshop for teaching staff will be held to close the 2025-2026 school year: "Being in a Learning Community." In this video, I explain, in clear Spanish and with school examples, what this workshop is, what you will do during those two days, and how to make the most of it so you don't miss out. What you will see: • Why the verb changes from "Being and doing" (January) to "Being" (July). • What a learning community truly is (and why it's not the Friday meeting). • The four processes that support it: problematizing practice, sense of belonging, collaborative knowledge construction, and contextualizing learning. • The method: dialogic and peer learning (Freire and Habermas, in simple terms). • The four workspaces on July 16th and 17th, translated into teacher-friendly language. • The Reflection Folder and how to bring real-world materials.
