ENCONA hosted a free webinar on 31 August 2022, moderated by our Marketing Manager, TARRYN JORDAAN, who was joined by our straight-talking subject matter expert, Hans Trunkenpolz (ENCONA Founder & Chairman of the Board), a certified IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3 auditor and has over 2,600 days of audit experience across the globe. There is a need to determine and manage organizational knowledge, to ensure the smooth operation of processes, and to achieve conformity of products and services. Requirements regarding organizational knowledge were introduced to safeguard organizations from loss of knowledge due to staff turnover and the failure to capture and share information. Organizations are also encouraged to acquire knowledge by learning from experience, mentoring, benchmarking, etc. This webinar refers to the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949:2016 regulations and while our examples may be based on the automotive industry, it is relevant to anyone, in any industry.
