Once In A Lifetime Elephant Experience in Chiang Mai, Thailand | Tawan Riverside Elephant Resort 🇹🇭

One of the highlights of our trip to Thailand was our stay at Tawan Riverside Elephant Resort. We were able to see and interact with the elephants - and they were everywhere! The most epic experience for us while there was a wake up call from an elephant named Tompo. A keeper guided Tompo to our room at 8am (our time preferred) and while they were approaching, we could hear Tompo’s loud trumpet. The keeper gave us about half of a sack of corn. While we were feeding Tompo, his keeper kept taking pictures of us which was so nice of him. Tompo was very delightful and we truly enjoyed the moment. After feeding, the keeper told us to come down so he could take a photo of us with Tompo. We chose this elephant sanctuary amongst the others as we thought they exhibit extra care to their elephants.
