Old Town of Batu Pahat-Malaysia 峇株巴辖 (May 2016)

Located in the state of Johor, the old town of Batu Pahat is a sleepy and quaint town. I wandered around exploring the old town under the hot punishing sun. The layout of the streets are neatly arranged in a straight line, thus very easy to navigate. Old shophouses are everywhere where people do business on the ground level while sleeping on the second level. A very atmospheric area for those who like the old world charm. As usual, most of the small towns in Malaysia comes to a standstill in the afternoon where life is very relaxed and carefree that I truly enjoyed.
