Schock auf Koh Phi Phi! So hast du die Maya Bay noch nie gesehen!

A warm hello from the island of Koh Phi Phi in Thailand, probably the most famous island here. In this video we show you a boat tour, island life and we were really shocked when we were at Maya Bay yesterday, so stay tuned until the end. For all those who don't know us yet, we are Niki and Emanuel. As digital half-time nomads, we travel for a few months every year. We are currently on a tour of Thailand and have taken a break. Join us on our exciting journey through southern Thailand. It would help us a lot if you subscribe to the channel now so that we can continue to create good content for you. Enjoy the video. We have now arrived at the viewpoint, which is only 10 minutes from our hotel. Look how beautiful it is here. So, the main beach here is Lhotalum Beach. There are countless bars, restaurants, grow shops and massages here. I can recommend Stinky, there are always great fire shows in the evening. This is the main beach here and this is where most of the action takes place. If you book accommodation here, check the Google reviews or the Booking reviews first. Unfortunately, we booked at Rimlei and the walls there were wet. Everything was moldy, horrible. Then we found something, it's called Kokobella. We'll show you that later. Really great food. We rented a private boat. We paid 3,000 baht for it. The driver took us around Pipe Island in a longtail boat and over to Maya Bay. It's cheaper, I think it's around 600 baht. But you're on a tourist boat with 50 other people. We didn't want that, we were completely alone. The tour itself was really great, very nice. Unfortunately, the weather didn't play along. If the sun isn't shining properly, the pictures are only half as good. But otherwise, the tour is recommended and everyone should do it at least once. We have now arrived at our first stop, the Viking cave. It looks really nice. Our next stop is Lomo D Beach. It's on the same island as Bibi. Very small, smart beach. You can buy a beer at the back, 250 Baht. You can only pay with credit cards. Next stop, Lopakao Beach. It's also on Pipe Island. We're going to have a little snack here because we're already hungry. We're going to explore the island a bit, or at least the beach. You already know that from the last video. When you eat in Thailand, you chew the chilies first. And then put the food on top. Otherwise it's absolutely not spicy for me anymore. Chew first, that's really important. A little tip: when you come here, take something with you in your backpack. That was the most expensive meal in all of Thailand so far. We paid 830 Baht for a green curry pastry and 2x Diet Coke. That's almost 30 euros. Our last stop, Monkey Bay. It's also on Pipi Island. Unfortunately we couldn't make all the stops today because the sea was too rough and the weather wasn't playing along. But otherwise the tour is definitely recommended. We are now at one of the most famous beaches in the world, Maya Bay. We are really shocked at how many people are here. It's horrible. It wasn't like that before. You didn't have to pay anything before. Now you have to pay 400 Baht per person. It's become a real disappointment. So many crowds here. And for all those who don't know. The whole film wasn't shot here, just the scene with the beach. Because the island is pretty small. There's the climb over there and the beach is already there in front. So, I'll fade you in now. Instagram vs. Reality. Unfortunately, this is what it really looks like here. I have bad news for you about diving. Unfortunately, I have barotrauma. That's because my eye was inflamed. And I'm also in a bit of pain. The pressure didn't release properly. And I had a bit of pain while diving. And now everything in front is swollen. Everything down to my eyes. And unfortunately, yes, I won't be diving for the next month. I would have liked to show you a few pictures here. But unfortunately, that's just the way it is. And health comes first, so you know. Yes, but that's obvious anyway. So, another well-known fruit is the dragon fruit. Everyone at home is sure to know it. It's usually overrated. People say it looks better than it tastes. But I'll show you a trick that makes it taste really good. So first of all, we cut it in two. This is what it looks like in the middle. Then we take a spoon or a fork. Depending on what we have. Lots of holes. Then we take a lime. We sprinkle it nicely over here. Yes, sir.
