But what really awaits you here? In this video, I'll take you on our journey from Phuket to Phi Phi Island and show you the real impressions, unfiltered and without certification. Our journey began at the pier in Phuket, where we took the ferry to Phi Phi. 90 minutes later, we arrived in the hustle and bustle of crowds everywhere, and it felt like there was no quiet spot, right from the moment we disembarked. We quickly found the right person holding a sign with our hotel name on it. We then headed toward the hotel, enjoyed the view, and explored the surroundings. The next morning, we started at the viewpoint and climbed countless stairs, but the view was worth it. Then we went into town to book a half-day boat tour, and that's when you immediately notice the crowds are a constant companion. Our first stop was Monkey Beach. Monkeys everywhere you look, very important, but even here, there's no room for yourself. Maya Beach: 400 baht entrance fee to follow the crowds. The beach itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the water is off-limits; swimming and snorkeling are prohibited. The sunset area finally offered a bit more freedom in the water, but only to a limited extent. Lots of colorful fish, and to finish off, a sunset that was truly memorable. My conclusion: Phi Phi Island is impressive. For anyone who has never been there, the trip is definitely worth it, but be aware that you're not alone here; you'll share the picture-perfect romance with 100s of other people.
