Twitter @juangangel The Pampinta breed is a genuine achievement of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA). It was obtained through crossbreeding two breeds, the East Friesian (3/4) and the Corriedale (1/4), during the 1980s and registered as a breed with the Argentine Rural Society in 1996. Until 1994, its development as a breed was directed toward meat production, but it was later reoriented toward dairy production, resulting in an animal with dairy characteristics and lean meat, fast growth, and high prolificacy.
