The Commander of the 0617/Majalengka Military District Welcomes Soldiers from the 338th/Talaga Manggung Infantry Battalion, Strengthening Synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Regional Government Majalengka – The Commander of the 0617/Majalengka Military District, Lieutenant Colonel Rendra Dwi Jayanto, attended the welcoming ceremony for the arrival of soldiers from the 338th/Talaga Manggung Infantry Battalion, led by the Commander of the 338th/Talaga Manggung Infantry Battalion, Major Mario Herdiana Belo, at the 338th/Talaga Manggung Infantry Battalion Marshaling Area on Jalan Lingkar Dusun Nanjung Mulia, Sukamulya Village, Kertajati District, Majalengka Regency, on Thursday (July 9, 2026). A total of 220 soldiers from the 338th Infantry Battalion/Talaga Manggung arrived in Majalengka Regency and were officially welcomed by the Majalengka Regency Government, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and the Kertajati District Military Command (Muspika). Also present at the event were Majalengka Deputy Regent Dena Muhamad Ramdhan, Majalengka Regency DPRD Speaker Didi Supriadi, Majalengka Military District Commander 0617/Majalengka Major Inf Sugiyanto, members of the Prosecutor's Office, Perhutani, Giri Sukani Air Force Base, Kertajati Police Chief, Kertajati Military District Commander 1715/Kertajati, Kertajati District Head, Sukamulya Village Head, and other invited guests. The welcoming ceremony began with the arrival of troops from the 338th Infantry Battalion/Talaga Manggung Battalion at the Marshaling Area. The ceremony was followed by a reception by the Deputy Regent of Majalengka, followed by a site inspection with the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) and the Commander of the 338th Infantry Battalion/Talaga Manggung. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session and a friendly gathering. In his remarks, the Deputy Regent of Majalengka expressed his appreciation for the presence of the 338th Infantry Battalion/Talaga Manggung Battalion in Majalengka Regency. He stated that the unit's presence is a source of pride and provides a sense of security for the community, particularly in Kertajati District, which is now developing as a national strategic area. He expressed his hope that the presence of the 338th Infantry Battalion/Talaga Manggung Battalion will strengthen security stability, support food security programs, and further strengthen the unity between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the people. The Majalengka Regency Government also affirmed its commitment to continuing to build synergy with the TNI in supporting development and maintaining regional stability. The welcoming of the soldiers took place safely, orderly, and cordially. The arrival of personnel from the 338th Infantry Battalion/Talaga Manggung Battalion was carried out in two waves and received a warm welcome from the local government, the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), the Kertajati District Military Command (Muspika), and the Sukamulya Village community, demonstrating their support for strengthening defense and security in Majalengka Regency.
