Hathkadi (1995) | Govinda Ki Blockbuster Action Movie | Shilpa Shetty, Shakti Kapoor | Full Movie Hathkadi (1995) is an action drama directed by Tatineni Rama Rao, starring Govinda as Suraj Chauhan, Shilpa Shetty as Neha, Madhoo as Rani, Shakti Kapoor as Bhavani Shankar, Kiran Kumar as DIG Vijaykumar, Tej Sapru as Inspector Prabhakar, Alok Nath as Chief Minister, and Satyen Kappu as Chandraprakash. The plot revolves around Suraj Chauhan, an honest Assistant Commissioner of Police, who is determined to eliminate crime from his region. His crime-reporter brother, Arun, records the criminal activities of the corrupt Home Minister, Bhavani Shankar, and Suraj's Deputy Inspector General. Before Arun can expose them, he is killed by one of Bhavani's henchmen, Chakku Pande. Enraged by his brother's death, Suraj takes an oath to avenge it and arrests Chakku. However, before he can get a confession out of him, Suraj is arrested for murder and having connections with terrorists. Discharged from duty and remanded to prison, Suraj meets his look-alike, Rajnikant, and together they plot to bring the real culprits to justice.
