He is known for spinning tall tales to avoid risky assignments. However, fate has other plans — whenever he reluctantly steps out on duty, he inadvertently ends up catching criminals, seizing contraband, or busting smuggling operations. These accidental heroics turn him into a media sensation and the pride of his department, much to his own discomfort, as he fears becoming a target for underworld gangs. His life takes a dramatic turn when he is mistakenly diagnosed with a terminal illness. Believing he has little time left, Dayashankar decides to die a hero so that his family can receive a generous government compensation. He begins taking on dangerous missions, hoping to be killed in the line of duty. Along the way, he crosses paths with Inspector Shiva (Aditya Pancholi), the mysterious Ritu/Radha (Shilpa Shetty), and ruthless gangster Billa (Gulshan Grover). As the truth about his health emerges, Dayashankar must confront the chaos he has unleashed, face deadly enemies, and decide whether to embrace his newfound courage or return to his old ways. The film blends action, comedy, and emotional drama, with Govinda delivering both humorous and intense moments.
