Beacon Point House reimagines the classic holiday home through a lens of permanence and calm. Conceived by Mason & Wales Architects, the design takes its cues from the lake and mountain views, expressed through a linear plan that opens each room to the landscape [01:05]. The structure’s grounded stone base and timber clad forms anchor the home to its site, while extensive glazing brings in the ever changing light and reflections from the lake [01:50]. Inside, the interiors continue this connection, with tactile stone, oak and natural finishes that evoke warmth and tranquillity [02:30]. Every element, from joinery to lighting, has been composed to frame the view and foster a sense of retreat [03:10].
