REPAIR RUSTY STRUT TOWERS LIKE A PRO! - DSM STRUT TOWER ROT FIX-SAVE HUNDREDS, DO IT YOURSELF👍

Hi everyone! in this episode I will attempt to repair the ugly brown bondo pile on my front strut tower. The original owner paid a body shop a boatload of money to repair rust on the strut tower AND im assuming some other unspecified paint repair due to the $1800.00 service bill that came with the car. They cited welding, paint and body work for that price but only listed damage to the strut tower and rust repair on the bill. Im no body tech BUT that price seems to be a little high. That and considering that the shop only put brown primer over top of the weld/bondo repair that they preformed. Seems a little fishy. In this video you will see me uncover the metal patch, remove all of the existing bondo and clean out the recurring rust that crept back into the original repair, and I will attempt to rectify the issue HOPEFULLY once and for all!. This was my first attempt at working with bondo in a solid 10 year span. Im happy with the way everything turned out.
