Why Britain Threw Away The 'Failed' Turret Poland Turned Into Ukraine's Deadliest Gun

Britain spent years and millions developing the 52-calibre AS90 "Braveheart" turret, then cancelled it, kept its shorter-ranged guns, and eventually gave the entire fleet away. Poland licensed that same "failed" British turret, married it to a Korean chassis, and built the AHS Krab, one of the most respected artillery systems Ukraine now fields against Russia.
