La Montaña de Guerrero: Tierra de Mujeres Migrantes

The mountains of Guerrero are a land of migrants, with thousands of stories passed down through generations, shaped by the migrant culture that permeates thousands of homes in rural and indigenous communities. Among these life stories, some are rarely heard and are even less visible: those of indigenous migrant women. These women carry experiences accumulated over more than three decades, traveling to places far from their homeland, learning about and identifying with other cultures, languages, customs, and identities. Their experiences are often marked by pain, loss, and longing. Their life stories are consumed by the hope of one day achieving a different standard of living than the one they knew from childhood.
