【豊橋→岡谷】２画面同時再生で徹底検証！　「飯田線」は「東海道線+中央線」より、どれだけ遅い！？

While the section between Toyohashi and Okaya is accessible via a single Iida Line train, and a few direct trains do operate, the short distances between stations (similar to the Yamanote Line) and poor track alignment result in unusually long travel times. Therefore, using the Chuo Line route is the standard practice, and through travel from Toyohashi to Okaya/Kamisuwa is not anticipated. However, I was curious about the significant difference between the Iida Line and Chuo Line routes. This time, I simulated the simultaneous departure of the Limited Express Inaji bound for Iida and the Special Rapid train bound for Ogaki from Toyohashi Station. I then tested how far a Shinano train bound for Nagano (transferred at Nagoya Station) and an Azusa train bound for Shinjuku (transferred at Shiojiri Station) could travel in the time it took for a local train (transferred at Tenryukyo Station) to reach Okaya Station.
