The S-Tribute version on modern platforms has a rewind and save state feature that makes it infinitely easier. 5. This is one of my favorites on the Saturn. Shienryu is really the only vertical shooter that tops it IMO. 6. Hitting the L shoulder button will get rid of the HUD if it's bothering you. 7. To start the game with 8 credits instead of the usual 4, on the title screen hold L+R+Left+C on the control pad, and press start.
