In Episode 171 of What Did Prince Do This Week?, Week 19 of 1986, a major moment arrives with the release of the “Mountains” single (US 7" release) and the tracking of “In A Large Room With No Light,” alongside a wave of other studio activity. This episode features the tracking of two other new songs this week: “If I Could Get Your Attention” and “Frustration” “In A Large Room With No Light” would become a holy grail song until its release on the Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition in 2020, while “If I Could Get Your Attention” was later given to Taja Sevelle. “Frustration” remains officially unreleased. The Flesh album is also sequenced, given segues, and compiled. Also included are two different jam sessions, “Blackberry Jam” and “Blueberry Jam,” along with more cues for the Under The Cherry Moon score and overdubs and mixes for “Get On Up.” The episode also touches on the Sheila E. B-sides “Paradise Gardens” and “The World Is High,” as well as the compilation of her third eponymous album.
