35 Years Protestant, Son of a Pastor: Why I Chose Orthodoxy !

His father was a Protestant pastor, and he sincerely sought to follow Christ. Yet deep inside, he always felt that something was missing. He believed there had to be more—that somewhere there had to be the Church Christ founded. After years of searching and heartfelt prayer, he asked God to reveal the truth. That prayer led him to the Orthodox Church. The first Orthodox parish he visited was St. Ignatius Orthodox Church in Phoenix, Arizona. The moment he stepped inside, he knew he had found what he had been searching for his entire life. Today, one year after being baptized into the Orthodox Church with the name Morris, he shares how Orthodoxy has transformed his life.
