Foam Back Emerger (Chocolate Thunder)
The Foam Back Emerger flat out catches fish. It is not my original pattern, but this tutorial shows how I tie it and the materials I believe work the best in order to get more takes. It represents a midge or bwo emerger and the fish seem to like it. Tight lines! Hook: TMC 2487 - Size 20 Thread: 6/0 Danville - Dark Brown Wire Rib: UTC Copper - Small Foam: 1mm Razor Foam - Translucent White Head: Brown Awesome Possum I exclusively use Rite Bobbins. https://ritebobbin.com/ Also, follow me on Instagram @mayflymusings and check out my website: www.mayflymusings.com Stay safe and tight lines!
