The Foam Back Emerger has been around forever, born on the San Juan River in the 90's. It has become quite popular in the last 5 year or so on the South Platte River. Some people call it the "Chocolate Thunder". Please don't call it that! This is the OG version taught to me by a San Juan River guide 20 years ago.
