Col du Telegraph and Galibier

The Galibier is one of the mythical Tour de France climbs. In the 2026 TdF the cyclists will climb the Telegraphe, the Galibier and the Alpe D'Huez all in one stage - I managed the Telegraphe one day, and then ground to a halt two thirds the way through the Galibier the next day !! In my defense, I'm 68, weigh nearly 90kgs, live where its predominantly flat, and, for a few reasons, didn't do anywhere near the training I'd planned. Still - I feel like I have unfinished business with the Galibier. Maybe if I lose 5kg and get fitter I can have another go - hopefully before I get much beyond 70!!
