Bernadette is 3 years old. She has oral aversion, which is characterized by the reluctance, avoidance or fear of eating, drinking, or accepting sensation in or around the mouth. Bernadette is enrolled in Supportive Treatment of Eating in Preschoolers, or the "STEPS" Program, where she participates in group activities that help her with feeding and swallowing.
