Saint Mark’s Summit WHITEOUT Hike. No Views, Still Worth It!

Today we hiked Saint Mark's Summit in beautiful British Columbia, and got completely greeted by a TOTAL WHITEOUT at the summit! No ocean views, no mountains, no famous Howe Sound panorama… just snow, fog, freezing winds, and an unforgettable adventure. Honestly though, the snowy atmosphere made this hike feel magical and peaceful in its own way. The trail was still incredibly fun with winter conditions covering the forest and summit area. Even without the view, the experience itself was worth every step. Trail stats: • Moderate hike • Approx. 10 km round trip • Around 600m elevation gain • Located near Cypress Mountain in BC ⚠️ Winter reminder: Saint Mark’s Summit can become dangerous during snowy conditions due to avalanche terrain and icy sections. Proper preparation, traction, layers, and checking conditions beforehand are highly recommended.
