First Muck Dive | PUERTO GALERA, Philippines

This was our very first muck dive, and though it doesn’t look like much, there is so much life around! Everything is camouflaged or small, including the first sea sheep nudibranch I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. It was too small for me to even attempt to show on camera, I’m hoping my son got a shot of it on his TG 6. The trick to finding these tiny and unique nudibranchs that are much smaller than a grain of rice, is to look for its home. They exclusively live on a filamentous green algae, so if you find that plant out there in the muck, you may be lucky to see a little family of sea sheep. Insta 360 x5
