Fantasea | PUERTO GALERA, Philippines

This was a really chill dive after I finished my EANX course. I could shut my mind down a little and just follow my dive buddies, glide through the water, empty my thoughts. Adjusting to a longer selfie stick during this dive was a challenge, after the dive I reworked my trim and weights so my next dive was much smoother. Gray had a bit of a problem with his fin digging higher up his Achilles and was causing him discomfort, we also sorted it out before the next dive. We stayed at 12-15 metres, my son staying within his dive limit. The highlight for me was seeing the Disco Clam! I had never heard of one until a few days before this dive. What a phenomenal and beautiful creature. Fantasea is a great place for new divers to practice skills and still manage to see a lot of beautiful marine life. This dive we saw a yellow headed eel, a scorpionfish, a lot of nudibranchs, a massive puffer, and one of the many Hawksbill turtles we always encounter here. Insta360 x5
