Women in TechWorks: Empowering High performance teams
In this Women in TechWorks session, Lee Harrison, Marketing Director at Siemens EDA, explores what it takes to build and empower high-performance teams in technology. Drawing on his experience in industry, Lee highlights the importance of collaboration, focus, trust, knowledge-sharing and strong leadership in creating teams that can innovate, adapt and deliver. The talk looks at how organisations can identify, support and develop the right people — and how inclusive cultures help individuals contribute their best work. Recorded at Women in TechWorks: Engineering Intelligently, hosted at Arm Cambridge, this session forms part of the wider Mentoring, Leadership and Retention programme, asking whether current approaches are truly moving the needle for women in technology. Women in TechWorks is a member-led TechWorks initiative created to champion women and allies across the UK technology sector, supporting visibility, mentoring, leadership and career progression across semiconductors, electronics, AI and deep tech.
