I bought my van and jumped out into the deep end with my new tiny off-grid cabin on wheels, I experience my first blizzard and snow storms in the remote Nordics, experience some extreme temperatures that few vans or trucks should survive, knowing how to stay warm in winter is key to survival. I make mistakes and learn my lessons. I snow in and have to dig myself out, I hunker down and ride out extreme weather. I get cozy, relaxing and cook pizza, make coffee and enjoy the craziness that is the Nordic winter, oh, and I also get to use my skis in the amazing January winter snow scenery. Some of this crazy stuff makes long for heavy rain camping in thunderstorms, maybe a little tornado, lol, just kidding. My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Hakkapalitta studless Winter Tires.
