Tony and John are in the foundation trench having to hand dig footings to get a nice square edge footing. Digging down to get a 2.5m footing they have to tackle the blue lias stone. Pete is at hand to construct concrete forms which act as plywood shuttering ready for the concrete footings.The trusty yanmar vio17 is in action and Joe is on the cormidi c85 mini dumper.John sets up the laser level to ensure when pouring concrete into footings they get good level foundation footings. Using a water pump the footings are drained, the concrete pump arrives and we are ready to pour footings. During the pouring process the concrete vibrating poker disperses any air bubbles that might form and few checks with the laser level, job done.
