APEDALE VALLEY LIGHT RAILWAY ANYTHING GOES GALA 2023 *INCLUDING FIELD RAILWAY DRIVER'S EYE VIEW*

We have made many films of the narrow gauge Apedale Valley Light Railway, mostly looking at the wonderful steam locomotives, but here at the annual Anything Goes Gala, we focus more on the industrial diesels, and also experience a complete Field Railway trip. We do of course see O&K 5662 and Stanhope, but it was nice to see so many diesels, including the Simplex we travel on, and a rather nice Hudswell that hauls the final passenger train seen at the end of the film, among others. Big thanks to our driver, William, and to Sam, Jon, Nathan, John, Simon L and Simon J for their warm welcome and hospitality throughout a long and very humid day. And SJ of course, for company.
