WORKING STRUCTURE FIRE – TERRELL TX On Monday, June 15, 2026, at approximately 4:32 PM, Terrell Emergency Services received reports of a structure fire at 708 N. Frances Street. While responding, crews observed a large column of smoke visible from a distance and immediately upgraded the incident to a working fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found the structure fully involved with heavy fire conditions. Due to the intensity of the blaze, additional manpower was requested from surrounding agencies, including Kaufman Fire Department, Forney Fire Department, College Mound Fire Department, Elmo Fire Department, and Terrell Volunteer Fire Department. Firefighters worked aggressively to bring the fire under control and prevent further extension. The incident remained active for more than five hours before command was officially terminated. At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation. No additional information has been released. 🔥 Terrell Emergency Services and assisting agencies remained on scene for several hours ensuring all hot spots were extinguished and the area was safe before clearing the scene.
