Do "Fire Protection" Lock Boxes Really Protect Valuables in a Fire? Testing the Sentry 1100
I've always been curious about how well these "fire protection" lock boxes actually work in a real fire. I recently acquired this Sentry 1100 in a storage locker I bought, so I thought I would try putting it in an actual fire with some "valuables" inside. I was actually quite surprised with how well it worked. For security these lockboxes are almost worthless, but for fire protection this one seemed to work pretty well.
