Dhogoye Bridge project over 80% complete
Jeff: The government has expressed confidence that the KSh1.9 billion Dhogoye Bridge in Siaya County will be completed on schedule, with expectations that it will significantly improve transport along the Bondo–Usenge road. Olive: A spot check by Citizen TV found the project is more than 80 per cent complete, with engineers saying the remaining work includes road upgrades and other finishing touches. While residents have welcomed the progress, they are calling for additional flood control infrastructure to protect nearby communities from seasonal flooding.
