NextGen TALKS: Yalla! Walking, Talking, and Building Bridges | Youth-Led Interfaith Action | Vienna

How can young people take interfaith dialogue beyond panels and into everyday life? Meet Hind Hafuda and Eidel Malowicki, two young leaders from Vienna transforming how we connect across cultures and religions. In this 30-minute episode, recorded during World Interfaith Harmony Week, they reflect on growing up in diverse cultural and religious contexts—Hind with Muslim roots, Eidel in a Hassidic Jewish family—and their shared drive to foster understanding. As Ambassadors of the Muslim Jewish Leadership Council (MJLC) Vienna, they co-founded Yalla·City·Walks, Yalla·City·Sports, and Yalla·City·Talks—initiatives that bring young people of different faiths together through walking, running, and open conversations that challenge stereotypes and create shared experiences. They discuss how everyday spaces can become platforms for dialogue, the challenges of interfaith activism as young women, and how movement, art, and education can serve as tools for social change.
