Meet Amana El Zoobi, a 20-year-old Lebanese scout who’s using scouting for something bigger: belonging, dialogue and real change. In this video, Amana shares what Scouting in Lebanon can look like when it’s built around inclusion, creating spaces where young people feel seen, heard and supported. Her story connects to an initiative led by the Lebanese Scouting Federation (implemented between 2020 and 2023) that focused on strengthening inclusive practices and helping youth learn how to talk with each other, not just around each other. At the heart of it is a simple idea: youth empowerment through knowledge exchange. Young leaders share experiences, swap skills, listen across differences and work together on solutions that actually matter in their communities. Just practical learning that turns into action.
