METRO TEL AVIV | ДАНКАЛЬ

On August 18, 2023, the Israeli Metro opened. It's called many things: the Metro-Tram, the Rakevet Kala, or simply the Metro, but the most accurate is the Dankal! This is a historic day, as this mode of transportation was first mentioned 50 years ago. Numerous problems prevented its opening on time. I went to test it and tell you everything I know about it. Currently, only one line, the Red Line, is operating, but two more lines are planned to open in the next five years, and another is under consideration. The Red Line passes through five cities: Bat Yam, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, and Petah Tikva. It's 24 kilometers long and has 34 stations, ten of which are underground. Almost 19 million shekels were spent on this project. In the video, I explain how you can pay for the Dankal Line, how quickly you can travel, and how this mode of transportation works.
