Daniela was a drug addict for many years. She couldn't even get out of bed without her daily dose of heroin. She wanted to harm herself, syringe after syringe. Hers is a story of pain and melancholy, of a struggle against life, which often deals too much damage to fragile people. Today, however, Daniela has won: she hasn't touched a drug in forty years, and she's a volunteer at @fondazionevillamaraini, the drug rehabilitation center that saved her when she was a young girl.
