Chili Dog Bake | Cornbread Topping |Doug Cooking

Chili, hot dogs, and cornbread form an easy chili dog bake recipe. Comfort food in a casserole that you will want to dig into. Enjoy! Chili Dog Bake Recipe recap: Preheat oven to 400°F 4-6 C Chili, room temperature or warmed 2 8.5oz Packages of cornbread mix 2 Eggs 2/3 C Milk 6-8 Hot dogs, sliced diagonally in thirds Shredded Cheddar cheese and sliced scallion (optional) Prepare cornbread to package directions with eggs and milk. Pour chili in a baking dish large enough to leave a 2 inch layer. Spoon cornbread batter overtop and smooth to an even layer. Place hot dogs across the cornbread layer. Sprinkle with cheddar. Bake until 25-30 mins or until cornbread is golden brown. Serve with sliced scallions overtop.
