Hydrometers, Refractometers, Vinometers - how to use them and why

Hydrometers, Refractometers, and Vinometers - how to use them and why you should!. We've had so many questions on which to use and when, and how. I decided to give a quick introduction to all three, showing how they are used, and of course giving my opinion on what I think works best. To me, there's no question, the humble hydrometer is the best measuring tool for specific gravity for the homebrewer. You could use a refractometer to take an initial or Original Gravity reading, but once there's alcohol, ehh, I wouldn't bother. And the Vinometer... I'd only use this if I forgot to take any readings and was curious aprroximately how much alcohol was in a batch. Just watch the video, it's all in there.
