KIBONDENI COLLEGE

Kibondeni is a college of catering and hospitality aimed at equipping young women from all over Kenya with the technical and human skills required to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. Established in 1967, it was the first women's hospitality college set up at a time when the hotel industry mainly employed men. The courses offered at the institution include: • Diploma in Catering & Accommodation Management. • Craft Certificate in Catering and Accommodation operations. • Kibondeni Certificate in Food & Beverage Production and Service. • Short Courses in Cookery and Home Management. Over the years the institution has contributed greatly towards Kenya's hospitality industry human resource pool. Over 70% of the institution's graduates get employment within the first 6 months after graduation. Some of the graduates are working in different parts of Africa e.g. Congo, Cameroon, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Uganda in the hospitality sector.
