How to Actually Change Who You Are | Finding Composure Ep. 6

Most of us already know what we should do. Work out. Send the email. Have the conversation. Stop overexplaining. Follow through. The problem is usually not information. The problem is what happens in the few seconds before the decision. Your body tightens. Resistance shows up. Then your brain starts building a very convincing argument for why tomorrow makes more sense. That is where identity advice falls apart. You may already know who you want to be. You may have already decided to be more disciplined, patient, confident, or direct. But when pressure hits, you do not always have full access to that version of yourself. In this episode, I break down what real change actually looks like. It starts with noticing the shift earlier, telling the truth about what is happening, and making one clean move before the old pattern takes over. Not a complete transformation. One decision. Then another. Eventually, the evidence becomes stronger than the old story you keep telling about yourself. That is how discipline grows. That is how confidence grows. That is how you actually change who you are.
