Just click on the settings icon then click on closed captions Recipe 450g of Whole Wheat Flour 1 tsp of salt 1 1/2 tsp of Baking Soda 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder 2 tbsp of melted butter 400ml of Buttermilk 2 tbsp of Treacle Not a treacle fan? Just leave it out then. If you’d like a little sweetness just add 1-2 tsp of Soft Dark Brown Sugar Treacle can also be substituted with molasses if you can’t get any For a buttermilk substitute you can add 2tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice to 400ml of regular milk. Stir and let it stand for about 5-10 minutes before adding. You can also use some natural or Greek yogurt.
