Staatsbezoek van start: Máxima schittert met saffieren

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima begin their state visit at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia. President Nikos Christodoulides and his wife Philippa Karsera receive the Royal Couple with a welcome ceremony. After playing the national anthems, the heads of state inspect the guard of honour. The delegations of both countries are also introduced. The Royal Couple then lays a wreath at the statue of the first President of Cyprus, Archbishop Makarios III.
