Armoured Sword and Shield sparring Damien vs Nick
A sparring bout looking to simulate some of the 16th and 17th century combat where partially armed soldiers in Europe (Spain being the most famous, called Rodeleros) often fought with partial armours and a sword and shield. The shields were metal, which we will acquire soon, usually called rotellas. Important facts about this fight. First, steel armour is not considered a target zone as the swords could not damage the body beneath it. Second, this was Damien's first ever fight using a shield, we have been teaching him single sword. Three - this was shot 2.5 hours into a 3 hour sparring session, so both fighters are fatigued.
