Ikebana Demonstration for Ikebana International, Delhi chapter by Ekaterina Seehaus, Sogetsu school

The video was recorded live on September 9, 2020. In this demonstration I make 5 arrangement in different styles of the Sogetsu school of ikebana: demonstrating the #intertwining technique, using #bamboobasket for large branches with berries, #unconventionalmaterial arrangement for a "girl's birthday party", #surfaceofleaves arrangement "The Wave" and the final free style arrangement with tree trunk and wild grasses "Morning walk". I was invited to give this demonstration by the Delhi (India) chapter of the Ikebana International organisation. The introduction speech is given by Mrs. Suzuki, the wife of the Ambassador of Japan in India.
